Baghlo Minara lies on the western side of Erbil, along the Erbil–Mosul road. Two main roads frame the area: the 150m road to the north and the 120m road to the south, while the railway line crosses its south-eastern edge.
The area is laid out to a proper plan: residential blocks, commercial frontage along the wide roads, generous parks and green space through the middle, and dedicated sites for services such as schools and mosques. Several large residential projects sit immediately around it.

The railway line and station sit to the south — a future transport advantage.
Parks and a green belt through the middle of the plan, which many areas simply do not have.
Close to modern residential developments — a positive influence on land value.
Dedicated sites for schools, mosques and local markets.
